Reid Minto

Reid Minto is pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Chemical Engineering at the University of Kansas and is in the class of 2028. He is working with Dorothy Haggard in the Shiflett Research Group, focusing on the COOLER (Cryopreservation Of Organs using Low-Effect Refrigerants) project which aims to engineer a safe and environmentally conscious way of freezing organs to extend the time they are viable for transplants. He is most excited to be working on a project that is multifaceted and helps address both serious medical and environmental issues.
