Lucas Hachmeister

I have been a Professor of HVAC and Plumbing at Johnson County Community College since 2022. My background includes working in the energy generation and transmission industry and as well as the mechanical trades for over 20 years. The emerging technologies that are being developed to more efficiently heat and cool homes and businesses fascinate me! I am excited to learn more about the methods of testing and measuring how refrigerants behave when put under adverse conditions.

Lucas is working with Yuniva Apodaca-Mendoza in the Shiflett Research Group.
