Biography —
As a Petrochemical Engineer from Peru, with experience in the hydrocarbons industry, I developed a strong interest in applying chemical engineering principles to solve complex energy and sustainability challenges. My professional experience in natural gas processing, process safety, and operations motivated me to pursue graduate studies and transition toward research. I was selected as a Fulbright scholar to pursue my M.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Kansas, where I hope to combine my industrial background with advanced research in areas related to sustainable processes, energy, and chemical transformation. I am particularly motivated by the opportunity to contribute to impactful research while developing the skills necessary to bridge fundamental science, process engineering, and real-world applications.
