Abbie Peters Named Awardee at the 2025 Future Leaders in Chemical Engineering Symposium


Lawrence, KS — August 29, 2025 — Abbie Peters, Shiflett Research and Wonderful Institute for Sustainable Engineering Undergraduate Researcher, has been selected as an awardee for the 2025 Future Leaders in Chemical Engineering Symposium, a premier national event hosted by the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at North Carolina State University.

The symposium recognizes the most promising early-career researchers in the field of chemical engineering and provides an elite forum for honorees to present their work, exchange ideas with peers, and engage with academic and industry leaders.
