Clement Feyijimi

Clement Feyijimi

Biography

Clement Feyijimi earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Akure, Nigeria, in 2018, and a B.Sc. Honours from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, in 2022. His undergraduate research focused on influence of surface roughness on heat transfer coefficients in the transitional flow regime in heat exchangers.

Currently pursuing a master's degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Kansas, his research explores the effect of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) on fuel combustion and engine performance. He has developed a predictive framework for fuel injection processes, focusing on hydrocarbons, ultra-low sulfur diesel, and biodiesel fuels. His work has been published in the ASME Journal of Engineering for Gas Turbines and Power.

In addition to his academic pursuits, he is a member of the Student Senate and serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Clement plans to continue his research into biomass combustion as part of a Ph.D. program. His dedication to research and community underscores his commitment to making a positive impact.
