Arthur Benson

Arthur is in the class of 2027 and is from Lawrence, Kansas. He is majoring in Chemical Engineering with a concentration in Data Science and a minor in Music.

Research Focus: While Li–S batteries enable high-density, low-cost energy storage, they suffer from parasitic reactions at the electrode interfaces. Arthur's research involves using molecular dynamics simulations to analyze how anti-reductive electrolyte additives contribute to the stability of these interfaces, thereby improving battery life.
